Synopsis

Megan’s weekend just took a dangerous, sexy turn…

What's not to love about a girl’s weekend in Dublin? Megan Sanders loves being out on the town and out on the pull with her mates, but unfortunately, she’s attracted the attentions of a man with downright murderous intentions.

Seth Martin knows vampire Samuel Bennington is evil, and only his pack of elite wolf shifters can protect Megan. That is, if they can convince her that she needs their help.

Soon Megan finds herself caught up in a whirlwind of fear and lust. She's being hunted for her blood, yes, but she's also crazy about the guy who has sworn to protect her. But which man will win? Will her blood sate Bennington's hunger, or will Seth remind her why it's good to be alive, and give her pleasure beyond anything she's known before?

Spooktacular Guest Blog: A Passion for Pumpkins

I’ve always loved Halloween. When I was young it was dressing up and going trick or treating with my brothers, coming home and spreading the loot on the table and deciding who’d had the most success. We were rarely allowed sweets, my mother obsessed with us avoiding tooth decay and fillings, but at Halloween we were allowed to gorge on the generosity of neighbours.

I live in a small village in Wales, and when October 31st comes round the clocks have fallen back an hour and it’s dark by 6pm – the blackness is increased where I live because our rural area has no streetlamps. It’s also cold in October, not snow-cold, but definitely icy, see-your-breath-in-the-air cold. I’m one of the neighbours on the lane who always makes an effort for the kids that come calling with their pumpkin shaped buckets and their wacky outfits.

I hang a large, brightly coloured witch on the tree at the end of the drive, set candles in jam jars to lead the way to the house, and ensure there are plastic bats, skeletons and cobwebs hanging around the porch. I even put on spooky music for the kids to listen to as I answer the door.

One of the things I always really enjoy making is the pumpkins - one to stand in the bay window of our cottage looking outwards and one for the kitchen table. I try and make them a little different each year and use the internet for inspiration.

Penny Roach gives some great idea for traditional pumpkins which are the sort I put in the window for the kids to enjoy.

But inside the house, for Mr H and I to enjoy, there’s usually something a little different and more sophisticated. For example I love this stocking pumpkin, it’s so sexy!

And Tinkerbell has always been my favourite Disney character, not sure if I could manage this one but I’m planning on having a go.

One year I created this vase pumpkin, sadly I didn’t get a photograph of mine, but filled with orange and yellow flowers it made a great centrepiece and lasted quite a while.

And for a bit of glamour, this has to go the list for a try in the future…

But surely, the best one of all – the wine cooler pumpkin!

Happy Halloween, I hope you all have lots of treats and enjoy any tricks you find yourself getting up to ;-)
