A very warm welcome to Sarah Castille; thank you for joining us on BooksChatter.
What was the inspiration for Chaos Bound?
How much of yourself is reflected in this book, and how?
What do you like to write and read about? Do you stick to a particular genre or do you like to explore different ones?
And as a final quirky thing, to get to know you a little bit better... do you have a pet or something that is special to you that you could share with us?
Chaos Bound
What was the inspiration for Chaos Bound?
"My hubs and I travelled from London, England to Oslo on his motorcycle and we met lots of colourful bikers along the way, many of whom shared their stories with us."
How much of yourself is reflected in this book, and how?
"I think the aspect of a professional woman falling for an outlaw is the biggest part of me in this book. A long time ago when I was in law school, I fell for a musician – although we didn’t get Holt and Naiya’s happy ending!"The first thing that draws me to a book is its cover. Can you tell us about your cover for Chaos Bound - why you chose that concept and who the artist is.
"I wish I could take credit for the cover, but it was wholly designed by the art department at St. Martin’s Press and my only input was to tell them I Ioved it!"Why should we read Chaos Bound and what sets it apart from the rest?
"The Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club series doesn’t have any abuse or cheating between the hero and heroine. The heroines are all very strong women who have overcome significant adversity to make it on their own and as a result, only the strongest of alpha males is worthy of them!"Can you tell us something quirky about Chaos Bound, its story and characters?
"I wrote about Holt’s kidnapping in Book 3 of the series, Sinner’s Steel, and while I was writing that book, I was trying to figure out how to save Holt. I knew the fans liked him and I didn’t want to disappoint them by killing him off. I also knew his soulmate would have to be in that dungeon with him. But figuring out a way to get them there together was pretty tough!"Who would you recommend Chaos Bound to and what should readers be aware of (any warnings or disclaimers)?
"I would recommend this book to anyone who likes tortured (literally) heroes, difficult emotional journeys, sexy alpha bikers, excitement, suspense and very hot sex!If you could / wished to turn Chaos Bound and the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club series into a movie, who would be your dream team?
In terms of warnings, there are references to abuse and trauma but I have tried to keep it in the past, and any violence in the book is minimal or behind closed doors."
"I would love it to be shot in Montana where the series is based.
Holt would, of course, have to be played by Charlie Hunnam and Naiya by Lily Collins."
"I love to read contemporary erotic romance and my series’ are either erotic or very spicy on the heat scale. I also read some paranormal romance and anything else on the best seller list that catches my attention."What is your writing process?
"I am a pantser. I usually start off with an idea and type random scenes until the characters reveal themselves to me. After that, I’ll start again and write the story in one go."What is in store next?
"I’ve already had lots of emails from readers asking for a book about the secondary character, Tank. So that might be in the works!
I am working now on a new mafia romance series, Ruin and Revenge with some very sexy mob bosses and the women who tame them. I also write an erotic romance series about MMA fighters [Redemption] and the fourth book in that series is currently in the works."
"No pets, unfortunately, but I do still ride with the hubs on the Harley! "Fab! Thank you again for being with us today, Sarah!
