Synopsis

It was only supposed be a little harmless fun, a road trip to Las Vegas to prove to everyone that she’s not boring. Instead, Marcy wakes up in a hotel room with her best friend’s brother. Worse, they’re wearing nothing but matching rings! Now, Marcy has to decide if she’s going to take a gamble on Nick or walk away from the best thing she never saw coming.

Teaser: Excerpt

“You were all over me last night, couldn’t get enough of me.”
     “Liar!”
“Are you sure about that, babe?”
“Yes, I am. I would never sleep with you and I’m sure as hell not your babe.”
Nick continued to smile at her. “Then why are we both naked in the same bed?”
Marcy glanced down at herself. Much to her chagrin, the bastard was right. Horrified, she grabbed the blankets. As she pulled them to her chin, a flash of light caught her attention and she froze.
The blinding glitter came from a diamond encrusted wedding band circling her left ring finger.
     “What the hell is this?”
     “What?”
Keeping a firm hold on the blankets with her right hand, she shoved her left hand in Nick’s face.
      “This.”
Nick pulled back slightly. “It looks like a wedding ring to me.”
“And why am I wearing it?”
“People generally do when they get married.”
“I know what a wedding ring is and why people wear them,” Marcy informed him. “That doesn’t explain why I’m wearing one.”
“For the same reason I am,” Nick answered. “You and I got married last night.”
Marcy gaped at him, eyes wide and jaw hanging to her chest. She could not have heard what she thought she just heard. This had to be some kind of sick joke. She would never marry Nick Singer. Not in a million years.
