Synopsis

It’s the career move of a lifetime, and Julianne can’t believe it’s hers: a position as an event planner at a country house in Cornwall, England, beginning with the wedding of a celebrity! If her old firm's senior planner back in the States hadn't fallen suddenly sick with the chicken pox, Julianne would never have found herself chosen for a life in one of England's most beautiful coastal counties, surrounded by rugged shores, quaint cottages, elegant gardens and a house to die for.

But life in Cornwall isn't exactly as Julianne imagined it. Her first bride-to-be is a resentful, petted snob, the groom is immature and bored, and the Cornish staff of Cliffs House has a difficult time believing that an event planner from a mid-level position can handle a wedding this big. And then there's a personal matter -- the handsome, sometimes charming, sometimes standoffish gardener Matthew Rose. He and Julianne have a strangely complicated relationship somewhere between friendship and attraction. But with a secret in his past, and a scheming bridesmaid plotting to have Matthew all to herself, will Julianne find a way to untangle her feelings and the problems of planning a perfect Cornish wedding?

A Christmas in Cornwall [2]

It's Julianne Morgen's first Christmas in the Cornish village of Ceffylgwyn, and life seems perfect. Her job as an event planner couldn't be better, she's beginning to feel at home despite being an American in a tiny English village, and her relationship with handsome English horticulturist Matthew Rose continues to slowly blossom from friendship to love.

But when an old flame of Julianne's appears on the spot, she finds herself tangled up in her own past. A grand charitable ball planned at Cliffs House for the holidays brings its own challenges to Julianne's world, along with a last-minute wedding in London. And when she learns that Matthew's former career in America has invited him back, she worries about what it means for their future together if he says 'yes.'

A Cottage in Cornwall [3]

Spring is in the air at Cliffs House, the charming Cornish estate that Julianne Morgen has come to think of as home. Her next big event is a personal favor to her employer: coordinating the perfect wedding for Lady Amanda’s friend and mentor, artist Constance Strong, whose late-in-life courtship is worthy of the storybooks themselves.

But as if helping Lady Amanda isn’t enough to occupy her mind, Julianne finds herself distracted by personal matters. Her long distance romance with Matthew Rose, the handsome and brilliant horticulturist has been on the rocks for weeks now – and when Matthew suddenly returns to Cornwall, he brings news with him that could change everything between them.

Can Julianne help Lady Amanda pull off the perfect surprise wedding for a case of true love? And no matter the odds they face, will Julianne and Matthew finally find their own happily ever after?

A Manor in Cornwall [4]

Now that Julianne's happily ending is secure, her career as Cliffs House's event planner is suddenly busier than ever. Thanks to a Cornish singing sensation's upcoming concert at Cliffs House, and her promise to plan the perfect wedding for Pippa, Julianne hasn't a moment to spare for Matthew or his plans for a weekend outing at Pencarrow. But she's determined to find a way without letting down Ceffylgwyn for its big moment, or disappointing Pippa on the biggest day of her friend's life.

With a starstruck crew of volunteers, a persistent American event planner, and a seemingly ill-chosen assistant in the form of the village's former troublemaker, Julianne has her hands full, as usual. And it will take all of her friends, a few surprise twists, and -- of course -- her beloved Matthew to see her through it.

A Bake Off in Cornwall [5]

Baking fever is sweeping through Cornwall this summer, and with the announcement that Cliffs House is hosting a popular baking contest, Julianne and her friends couldn't be more excited -- until Dinah announces that she's one of the chosen contestants! Julianne promises herself to do everything possible to support her friend in the face of stiff competition ... and two extremely competitive international judges...all while learning a few lessons in the kitchen under the oh-so-close tutelage of Matthew himself.

From scrumptious scones to festive gingerbread, love is the secret ingredient as sparks fly from more than the contestants' caramelizing torches. Book Five in the bestselling Cornwall series is a recipe for summer romance!

A Castle in Cornwall [6]

Just when everything is finally perfect for Julianne, a sudden request has her helpless in the face of giving up the life she loves most. The only thing distracting her from the future is her current assignment: a secret royal wedding at a southern Cornish castle, where Lord William's cousin needs all the available help she can find to ensure its success.

Now Julianne and the rest of Cliffs House's staff — including special guests Pippa and Dinah — are helping bring together a English royal cousin and a European prince for their special day ... only Julianne finds herself drawn into the event more deeply than she intended when she becomes the accidental confident of the bride-to-be's secret dilemma.

Will Julianne's advice save a royal wedding from disaster? Or will her personal life — and the dilemma she and Matt are facing at the end of the summer — stand in the way of happily-ever-after?

[Published 12 July 2017, 142 pages]

A Romance in Cornwall [7]

After months in America, Julianne and Matt have finally returned to their beloved Cornish cottage — and Julianne discovers that time did not stand still in the village during her absence. As she struggles with homesickness for Seattle and feeling out of place in the Cornish life she loved so deeply, Julianne makes the acquaintance of a famous romance novelist struggling with writer's block, who believes her much-needed story lies somewhere in the tiny village of Ceffylgwyn.

When the writer finds herself momentarily inspired by Julianne and Matt's own love story in Cornwall, Julianne begins a — sometimes literal — walk down memory lane, remembering her favorite moments, people, and places in this spot. But as her newfound friend learns that inspiration isn't always what it seems, will Julianne, too, find her way past the changes in both the village and herself?

Old memories and familiar faces await readers in this playful tribute to the series' first novel a year after its debut, as Book Seven bridges the gap between Julianne's first life in Cornwall and one which promises new friends and new adventures yet to come.

[Published 23 August 2017, 108 pages]

A Star in Cornwall [8]

Summer is drawing to a close at Cliffs House, but Julianne finds her free time consumed by the Cliff's Edge Players when an emergency leaves the dramatic society without their devoted director Millie.

Taking charge of their latest production, a modern Romeo and Juliet set in America, Julianne has only her new temporary assistant Katie to help her, until a mysterious American backpacker-turned-village-handyman provides the missing spark the play needs. Young, charming stranger Riley O' Connell is an instant hit with Julianne's friends in the theater company as his performance steals the show ... but Julianne is afraid he may be stealing something else, too, as Riley's past catches up with him.

Friendship, disasters, secrets, and sparks of romance light up the pages of Book Eight in A WEDDING IN CORNWALL!

[Published 18 October 2017, 92 pages]

A Sewing Circle in Cornwall [9]

Determined to help with the autumn village heritage fete for charity, Julianne joins the local quilting circle and discovers that her creative talents do not extend to needlepoint and patchwork, and, worse, that her time is stretched too thin already by assisting Lady Amanda in organizing the event's festivities. When Julianne encounters an age-old feud between two villagers over the village's 'Old Cornish' name, she wants to get involved in finding the solution — and, as a result of this impulsive habit, incites a fierce argument between herself and Matt that leaves them both feeling distant and unhappy.

Fighting with Matthew is bad enough — but to make things worse, the village's requested 'celebrity host' for the fete is none other than Petal Price-Parker, who arrives as gorgeous as ever, and with her marriage doomed to be nothing more than celebrity gossip in a few more weeks. To Julianne's dismay, Matt and Petal are thrown together by the local garden club's role in the fete, where it becomes obvious that Matt's runway model ex still finds him attractive after years apart.

Is this the end for Julianne and Matt's perfect romance? Will Matt's feelings for Petal return? Will Julianne finish her pathetic patchwork quilt in time for the fete? Find the answers to these questions and others in Book Nine of the bestselling romance series!

A Talent Show in Cornwall [10]

When things fall into a rut in Ceffylgwyn, Julianne's friends Rosie the local 'cat lady', and Lorrie, a teacher for the Cornish village school, find the answer in a talent show inspired by the upcoming auditions for the star-making reality program Fame Factor. When the number of secretly-aspiring stars from the surrounding villages proves bigger than any of them dreamed, the two of them quickly enlist Julianne's help with the project, so she calls upon the one person she can rely on to help them pull it off — her former assistant Kitty, now back in England and willing to use her skills to help organize a three-night event from a chaotic mess to a possible chance at stardom for the winning contestant.

Meanwhile, Gemma's broken heart and semi-abandoned novel manuscript have Julianne worried about her friend ... or make that two of them, when Michael the chef impulsively involves himself in the drama. Kitty's locked in conflict with her family, who have only just now learned about her engagement to Nathan a year ago. And a conviction that she's finally growing older and losing her youthful zeal has Julianne worried about her future as Cliffs House's enthusiastic event planner — and her attempts to recover a little of her old self sparks worries in Matt's mind in return.

Will Julianne find the energy to fill the demanding role in life she's always loved? Will Kitty escape her mother's wrath — and Gemma escape deleting her life's secret ambition? Book Ten is full of romances, decisions, dreams, and surprises for Julianne, Matt, and all of their friends.

[Published 7 March 2018, 146 pages]

An American in Cornwall [11]

Taking a break in North Cornwall to soak up the summer sun, Julianne is spending her holiday with her best friend Aimee from Seattle — who's taking a holiday herself in Cornwall as a 'shop sitter' in a small village. Eager to introduce Julianne to her new friends and show off the quirky secondhand shop she's minding for the next few months, Aimee sweeps her off to quaint St. Petroc, only a few miles from the sea.

Just when everything looks perfect for a week of historical haunts and lazy afternoons in the sun, a scheming local businessman makes a disastrous announcement that changes everything —and Julianne rallies to help Aimee not only defend the future of the antique shop in her care, but all the rest of the village's high street as well.

From an oily businessmen to a chatty bookshop owner, to a kindhearted solicitor and a crazy hen night planner, Julianne's latest adventure in Book Eleven is as impossible, impulsive, and charming as any she's experienced before.

One of only two books left in the best-selling A WEDDING IN CORNWALL series!

A Garden in Cornwall [12]

With their lives exactly what they've always dreamed, Matt and Julianne await the arrival of the third member of their family — but their happiness is threatened when their landlady Mathilda announces her intention to sell their beloved Rosemoor Cottage for an impossible value. Devastated, Julianne struggles to accept the cold reality of her and Matt making their home elsewhere.

Matt's life has taken a new turn as he finally puts aside his academic work to pursue his gardening hobby as a career: his first new job as a landscape designer involves neglected Penwill Hall's 'lost' garden — one with a truly romantic Cornish past. But the task of restoring its legendary beauty from nearly seventy years ago proves difficult among the ruins lost in weeds and wilderness.

With notions of secret gardens and wartime stories echoing in her thoughts, Julianne is determined to help Matt and the estate’s new owner after the discovery of a hidden mural in the hall itself, depicting a breathtaking garden that may well be the lost one. Her efforts to uncover the past lead her to a curmudgeonly local gardener who just may hold the knowledge that would restore the 'lost garden' to its former glory. Will Julianne's quest help her find a way to deal with losing the home she loves?

Hellos and farewells abound as Dinah returns to lend a helping hand at Cliffs House and Julianne relives her favorite memories of her and Matt's beloved cottage in Book Twelve — the final installment in the bestselling series A WEDDING IN CORNWALL.
