Thoughtful and complex characters draw you in and leave you feeling like you know them personally. The detail in the narrative immerses you in the story and you find yourself wanting to urge the characters forward in their quest. Though the story is fantasy, it feels very real and the magic sparks your imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next volume!"
"Book two in the series is due out in 2018."And as a final quirky thing, to get to know you a little bit better... do you have a pet or something that is special to you that you could share with us?
"My favorite place in the world to write is at the Lutsen Resort in north Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior."
