ℚ Goddess Of The Wild Thing - Paul DeBlassie III

Today we have the pleasure of meeting up with author to talk about Goddess Of The Wild Thing (, Hallowed Realms Press, 311 pages), a Paranormal Methaphysical Thriller.

"Goddess of the Wild Thing is a psychic and erotic feminist manifesto! Twisted turns of love and fate take us on a literary adventure into a woman’s fears and desires. Dr. DeBlassie conjures a paranormal thriller in which a woman’s life depends on discovering whether bad love is better than no love. Goddess of the Wild Thing left me breathless and stunned." ~Lorraine Carey, International Award Winning Author

A very warm welcome to Paul DeBlassie III; thank you for joining us on BooksChatter!

What was the inspiration for Goddess Of The Wild Thing?

"Drama-filled psychotherapy practice helping love-wounded folk heal inspired Goddess of the Wild Thing."
How much of yourself is reflected in this book, and how?
"Insights from depth psychology are packed through this supernatural thriller—dreams, love, and magical happenings."
The first thing that draws me to a book is its cover.  Can you tell us about your cover for Goddess Of The Wild Thing - why you chose that concept and who the artist is.
"The woman of mystery and magic in Goddess of the Wild Thing is a soul image of the dynamic and wild-woman protagonist, Eve Sanchez.

Harris Channing provided the basic image and together we built on it. "
Why should we read Goddess Of The Wild Thing and what sets it apart from the rest?  What makes your book unique?
"My thrillers focus on one theme.  Goddess of the Wild Thing zeroes in on love, its challenges and the necessity of endurance and discovery.  You’ve got a psychologist telling you a story straight from real life experiences loaded with life-changing psychological insight."
Can you tell us something quirky about Goddess Of The Wild Thing, its story and characters?
"I dreamed about the scenes in Goddess of the Wild Thing, popping out the emotional current on each and every page."
Who would you recommend Goddess Of The Wild Thing to and what should readers be aware of (any warnings or disclaimers)?
"Whoever wants to delve into bad love/good love and what it means to see your way through should read Goddess of the Wild Thing.  Read slowly, too fast and you’ll miss too much.  Slow reading means deep reading."
If you could / wished to turn Goddess Of The Wild Thing into a movie, who would be your dream team?
"The main character would be Salma Hayek, a woman of intensity, passion, and a heart open to the natural magic in everyday life."
What do you like to write about?  Do you stick to a particular genre or do you like to explore different ones?
"I write supernatural thrillers, my passion about dreams, intuition, synchronous events, and magical happenings is evident throughout."
What is your writing process?
"I hit the page running each day, words, sentences, scenes often rushing out with a fury and a white-hot magical spell."
What is in store next?
"I’m finishing off and getting ready to send to my professional editor, The Goddess of Everything, a supernatural thriller about mother love gone bad and the need to break free."
And as a final quirky thing, to get to know you a little bit better... do you have a pet or something that is special to you that you could share with us?
"I love to spend plenty of time in hot yoga, multiple times a week, a practice that opens my mind and heart to new realms of imagination and natural magic."
That's pretty hard-core!  Thank you for sharing.  We hope you are having a great tour!
