ReplyDeleteCan you tell us a little more about the Sugar Sanda series? Will it follow the same protagonist? Thanks for sharing the novel preview. Plenty in there to get hooked on.
ReplyDeleteSure, thanks for asking. The series is set in a little beach community on the Gulf of Mexico starting in the late 1970s and follows various members of the community. Joy After Noon follows Joy Hancock and her new family when she meets and falls in love with the widower Ray Jenkins. She becomes friends with Acadia O'Neil, who is married to the church preacher Peter. Acadia and Peter are only minor characters in Joy After Noon, but they are the protagonists in the next book to be published, Song of Sugar Sands.
DeleteThanks so much for having me on bookschatter today. I look forward to hearing from some of your followers. I'm heading to Kentucky for a couple of days to visit my mom since I'm going to be in Portugal on Mother's Day. My internet service is spotty in this part of Kentucky (near Kentucky Lake), but I'll check in every chance I get to respond to questions. I appreciate all visits and comments!
ReplyDeleteWould you ever like to see your book turned into a movie?
ReplyDeleteYes, for sure.
Delete:-)
DeleteSounds like a good book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the tour today.
DeleteThanks for being here and part of the tour.
ReplyDeleteJoy is juggling a lot seems like. I know I can relate! I am curious to know what Ray is dealing with at work and why he's being so secretive with Joy.
